rethink autism and Autism Speaks present: What You Need to Know, an orientation for parents and family members of children recently diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, hosted by Lisa Goring, Director of Family Services at Autism Speaks, and Dr. Bridget A. Taylor, Senior Clinical Advisor at rethink autism.
Dr. Taylor will present an overview of the most effective educational interventions for autism and give practical advice on jump-starting treatment for your newly diagnosed child with autism.
Lisa Goring will share resources for newly diagnosed families and information on how to maximize their quality of life.
About Dr. Bridget A. Taylor
Dr. Taylor is a board certified Behavior Analyst, the director of one of the country’s leading educational programs for children with autism, a long time autism researcher, and the therapist featured in Catherine Maurice’s book "Let Me Hear Your Voice."

About Lisa Goring
Lisa joined Autism Speaks as the Staff Liaison for the Family Services Committee in June of 2006. In May of 2007 she was appointed Director of Family Services.
Lisa's focus is to provide direction and management of the Family Services program at Autism Speaks, and to serve as the guiding force behind the Family Services mission.
