Daniel A. Etra - Chief Executive Officer(read bio)

Mr. Etra currently serves as CEO of rethink autism, Inc. Prior to co-founding the company, Mr. Etra was CEO of R.E.R. International, a supplier of printed materials to the retail industry. Mr. Etra was a Consultant at Bain & Company, helping establish their NY office and also served as a Managing Director of Promodex Ltd., an Israeli importer and distributor of consumer appliances and industrial equipment. In addition, Mr. Etra served in the Israel Defense Forces and worked at Wasserstein, Perella & Co., specializing in M&A in the fields of healthcare, technology and natural resources.

Mr. Etra has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Yale University. Born and raised in New York City, he is a volunteer in the Pediatric Department at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center working with children ages 3 months to 15+ years old

Eran Rosenthal – President & Chief Operating Officer(read bio)

Mr. Rosenthal currently serves as President and COO of rethink autism, Inc. Prior to co-founding the Company, Mr. Rosenthal was President and COO of R.E.R. International, a supplier of printed materials to the retail industry. Mr. Rosenthal was Director of Operations at QRS Corp., a leading provider of e-commerce solutions to the retail industry, as well as a founder and Co-CEO of Ben Yakar Imports Ltd., an Israeli exporter of medical equipment to South America. In addition, Mr. Rosenthal served in the Israel Defense Forces as a Captain in the Navy.

Mr. Rosenthal has an MBA from University of Illinois and a BA in Political Science from Tel Aviv University. Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, he is the father of three children.

William W. Mak – Chief Financial Officer(read bio)

Mr. Mak currently serves as CFO of rethink autism, Inc. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Mak was the CFO & COO of Stratus Media, a media sales and services company that provided national advertising sales representation to syndicators and radio networks across the United States. Mr. Mak's 18-year career in general management, finance and technology includes such well-known companies as American Express, Oracle Consulting, PepsiCo Inc, and Arthur Andersen.

Mr. Mak was born in Malaysia, and grew up in New Zealand where he graduated from Auckland University with a bachelor's degree in commerce and started his career with Arthur Andersen as a Chartered Accountant. He then moved to New York City in 1994 and now lives in Manhattan with his wife and three children.

Jamie Pagliaro – Executive VP, Business Development(read bio)

Mr. Pagliaro currently serves as Executive Vice President, Business Development of rethink autism, Inc. and member of rethink autism’s Scientific Advisory Board. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Pagliaro was Executive Director of the New York Center for Autism Charter School, the first charter school for children with autism spectrum disorders in New York. The program has received national recognition from the media and a number of professional publications as a model for children with autism in the public school system. Mr. Pagliaro was also Program Director at Melmark, a private residential school program for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Mr. Pagliaro has an MBA from Villanova University and a BA with honors in Psychology from Wesleyan University. He is a member of the Association of Behavior Analysis International, Board Chair of Music for Autism and an avid squash player.

Bridget A. Taylor – Senior Clinical Advisor(read bio)

Dr. Taylor currently serves as Senior Clinical Advisor and Board Chair of rethink autism’s Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Taylor has specialized in the education and treatment of children with autism for the past twenty-four years. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Alpine Learning Group, a highly regarded education and treatment center for children with autism in New Jersey, which she co-founded in 1988. Dr. Taylor has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and currently serves on the editorial boards of the journals Behavioral Interventions and Behavior Analysis in Practice. She is also a member of the Autism Advisory Group for the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies, a member of the Expert Panel of the National Autism Center’s National Standards Project, and a board member of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment. Dr. Taylor is a national and international speaker and has authored numerous research articles and book chapters related to autism.

Dr. Taylor is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Psychologist. She holds a Doctorate of Psychology from Rutgers University, and received her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Columbia University.

Robyn Catagnus, Ed.D., BCBA-D – VP, Professional Services(read bio)

Dr. Catagnus currently serves as Vice President, Professional Services of rethink autism, Inc. Prior to joining the company, she worked as an independent special education consultant who specialized in providing training, support and supervision to public school programs and parents of children with autism. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with extensive expertise in autism, behavior disorders, and positive behavior supports. As founder and former owner of a special education service agency, she clinically supervised cases, developed staff training programs, and conducted regular workshops and training events for schools and organizations. Her current work also includes online course development and instruction as an Adjunct Professor of Education with Arcadia University’s Autism Certification and Behavior Analysis Certification programs, and supervision of board supervision candidates. Her research interests include class-wide interventions, action research, online professional development of teachers, e-collaboration for education and behavioral health teams.

Dr. Catagnus has a Doctor of Education in Special Education from Arcadia University and a Master of Science in Education in Curriculum, Instruction, & Technology in Education, Temple University.

Hannah Hoch, Ph.D., BCBA – Director of Training and Research(read bio)

Dr. Hoch currently serves as the Director of Training and Research at rethink autism and holds the position of Adjunct Professor in the Psychology Department at Barnard College. Previously, Dr. Hoch served in the positions of Clinical Director at REED Academy, Consultant at Alpine Learning Group, and Behavioral Consultant at the New York Center for Autism Charter School. Dr. Hoch is a certified behavior analyst specializing in the education and treatment of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. She has published in the areas of functional analysis and treatment of severe behavior problems, as well as increasing language and social skills in individuals with autism. Recent publications include articles on reducing rapid eating and teaching joint attention skills to children with autism.

Dr. Hoch received her doctorate in Learning Processes Psychology at the Graduate Center of CUNY. She has an MA and BA in Psychology, both from Queens College of the City of New York.
