“Our staff is doing an outstanding job implementing your excellent program [Rethink Autism]!”

Mr. Henry Castaniada, Superintendent
Loma Prieta School District (CA)

“We are thrilled with the Rethink Autism program. Who would have thought that our paraprofessionals would have improved so much in their implementation of the programs from watching your instructors and the videos! The site is so user friendly I have not had any technical assistance issues. Although we are in our most dismal budget time in education, I can’t imagine us not spending the dollars necessary to continue with the Rethink Autism program. Your support to our district has been awesome! “

Ms. Laura McGill, Program Specialist
School District of Indian River County (FL)

“This website is a pretty amazing tool for helping families get access to some ABA therapies without all of the usual cost and it keeps families informed and involved. My experience with it has been great, because the website really helps devise an individual plan for each child. As you pick goals through the website there is an ability to track data, follow progress, make schedules, and communicate with other members of a child's team. Each time a child has a new goal (example: remaining seated) you can not only print out the write up of the goal that includes a step-by-step process for how to implement it and ideas for troubleshooting struggles, but there is also a video to accompany each goal so that you can watch how each goal is meant to be taught. The site then walks you through a progression of appropriate goals and suggested goals for your child.”

Abbey Hood, Case Manager - Autism

The Autism Program of Illinois Service Center (IL)

"The bank of programs has been invaluable. No other program that we have investigated, in print or on line, has offered an intervention option that within a day of initiating the service has a plan to implement and a promise for a path to continue following. It allows for a true team effort to assess the best fit for the program, the skills of the child and the environment that supports the child. The video gives a fabulous and consistent training tool to ensure that all staff members get to view the program in action. We use our team leaders to review the video with families and staff who are implementing the programs and to examine the techniques and strategies with a ‘fine tooth comb’ to enhance consistent implementation and thorough understanding of the intent behind the strategies. The written programs follow a format that makes it easy to search for details about program implementation. Our team leaders also monitor the trainers' implementation in the field and support their specific needs. When there are individual needs that require a slight variance to the program, we make those notes right on the "Rethink" program. It really is a perfect blend of resources for us.”

“I don't know where my son would be without such a wonderful program. My son can clap his hands! Thank you Rethink Autism!!!”

Christine C. (IL)

“Without Rethink Autism, my work could not be so effective and so successful - you really give me the right method and the right Program for [my son]’s progress. By watching your videos and using your techniques, I help [my son] to progress day after day. During this month we have discovered a new child, he is smart, he has a great potential and he learns so fast. Rethink Autism gives me the tools that I need. I hope that other parents discover your site and take advantage of your services and your tools in order to be able to help their children. Thank you so much!”

Latifa H. (Germany)

“It was great to speak with you the other day. I really appreciate you and your team and the excellent work you do at Rethink Autism. You are a great encouragement to us. Keep up the great work!”

Mark T. (OK)

“Thank you so much for your call, and also for this email with all the attachments (you guys are really creative and the token boards are lovely). I was so inspired by what I saw that I made one myself last night (stayed up late). I will try using it today (am really excited about it). Hopefully, I will be wise and not push him beyond his limits. Thank you again for your support - it really means a lot to me.”

Deborah O. (Singapore)

“This is the second time my son has joined school, before in January he was unable to sit down with a group or even imitate steps to a song. However after starting [Rethink Autism’s] ABA curriculum for the first time he was able to sit with others although it wasn't for too long and he was pay attention to activities and do work sitting!! Thanks to your help. When I began this curriculum he wasn't able to imitate gestures at all. Although he has reached mastery steps in some of the current lessons I am still practicing it. I realize the first lessons are important in creating a solid foundation to the other steps.”

Khadeeja A. (Thailand)

“Rethink Autism rocks!! I was feeling lost and overwhelmed before I found this program. Now there is hope! Thank you!”

Liz H. (IN)

“Finally......A place where I can go and find the tools I need to help my daughter. I am so excited about this. I told all my friends at my Thursday night support group. There was so much that was put into this site and the staff is unbelievable. [My daughter] and I thank you for making this possible for us and all the people involved in the autism community.”

Alice G.C. (NY)

“You guys are awesome! My son just lost his services because he starts school September 1st... my husband and I didn't know how we were going to continue with ABA services. We are so grateful for your program. It’s definitely worth the investment!”

Noni-Ayanna G.R. (RI)

“Last week after we hung up I realized there was something you really helped us with that we have seen positive progress on. You advised me about how to get [my son] out of the car by saying only "let's go" and helping him out. Once we started simplifying the command he started coming out of the car much better within a few days and after about a week I didn't need my daughter to get him out of the car. He even got out of the car at the doctor's office (he hates that place). So thank you for that!”

Teresa H. (TX)

“My wife and I have started with the Rethink Autism website and have put some concerted effort in. Once a week one of their consultants calls us and speaks with us for upwards of an hour giving us guidance and monitoring [our son]’s progress. We're getting into the swing of it and committing time every day to have a good go and it is paying off already. [Our son] has done some independent pointing, is making good eye contact when asked, and progressing towards some other things. Best of all he likes being in his room doing 'homework'! Who wouldn't with bits of Jelly snake for motivation! Love interacting with him and his smiles:)”
